Archery 

The Archery Facility has something for everyone with enough variety to keep your interest and skills strong. We have a field range with target butts from 10 to 70 yards and a three kilometer trail with a variety of 3D targets. 

There is our field house and the Old Archers Cabin complete with a wood stove to warm up on chilly winter days.

Not only all that, the facility is home to the world's longest long bow, proudly displayed on the road up to the range.

We have over a hundred members participating on a regular basis with everything from traditional long bows, recurve bows and compounds. Our members range from recreational target shooters who enjoy testing themselves on the trails, to hunters honing their skills.

 

We have monthly meetings and publish our newsletter, The Quiver, on a monthly basis to keep our members informed and involved.

Hello Fellow Archers 

This is an upcoming NALS event in 2027 hosted by Armstrong & District Fish and Game Association.and SSSBC (Single String Shooters of BC)

Event Planning and Announcement

  • SSSBC will host NALS July 2-4, 2027, at Armstrong & District Fish and Game Association.

  • The event will feature traditional archery activities, a banquet, broadhead course, guides, wooden arrows, and memorabilia.

  • A team is preparing informational content about NALS for the website, seeking volunteers.

Community Engagement and Contributions

  • Clubs are encouraged to donate targets for the broadhead course.- CDFGPA has located a couple 

  • Members can join or renew memberships, with funds supporting website costs and event setup.(https://singlestringshootersbc.ca/)

  • Members are invited to write articles, share photos, and promote SSSBC locally.

Growth and Promotion

  • SSSBC plans to develop regional reps, display banners, and expand social media presence.

  • Apparel like T-shirts may be organized with upfront payment.

  • The group seeks ideas, volunteers, and support to grow the organization and its activities.
